Overview

Vibe Space ("we", "our", or "us") is an invite-only mobile application for office building tenants. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the app's features:

• Account information — your name, email address, and phone number, provided by your building or company admin when your account is created.
• Home address — entered by you during profile setup, used to calculate commute routes and time estimates.
• Location — used to determine whether you are at home or at the office so the commute screen shows the correct direction. Location is accessed only while the app is in use.
• Device token — used to deliver push notifications (ride matches, reservation reminders, announcements).
• Usage data — carpooling activity (ride offers and requests), amenity reservations, and announcement interactions (reactions).

How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate you and manage your account
• To calculate commute routes between your home and office
• To match you with carpool partners within your building
• To manage sitting area reservations
• To send push notifications relevant to your activity
• To display building and company announcements in your feed

Information Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data. Your information may be shared in the following limited circumstances:

• Within your building community — your name is visible to other team members when you offer or request a carpool, or when you add colleagues to a reservation.
• Your building admin — can see your account status and reservation activity for operational purposes.
• Service providers — we use Google Maps for routing and Firebase for push notifications. These providers process data under their own privacy policies.

Location Data

Location access is used only while the app is open to determine commute direction (home → office or office → home). We do not track your location in the background and do not store a history of your location.

Push Notifications

We send push notifications for carpooling matches, ride updates, reservation reminders, and building announcements. You can disable notifications at any time in your iPhone's Settings.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If your account is removed by your admin, your personal data is deleted from our systems within 30 days.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the email below. We will respond within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Vibe Space is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
